Participants should have a desire to build skills for a new career, an advanced or high-intermediate English reading level, and the ability to commit up to 170 hours of independent online instruction.

Cornell University’s external education unit offers small cohort, instructor-led classes to earn a certificate from Cornell University. eCornell courses cover a variety of disciplines, including Marketing, Data Science, Project Management, Human Resources, and more. Each course spans a duration of 2 weeks, while certificates generally require 3-4 months for completion. Literacy Pittsburgh's partners with COABE and Upwardly Global to offer our students the opportunity to upskill through eCornell.
