With Us

Literacy Pittsburgh is the leading regional advocate for literacy and serves as a national role model for its level of service, efficiency and impact. We actively welcome strategic partnerships that advance our mission or alleviate barriers for students.

Literacy Pittsburgh works with more than 200 community partners who complement our vision, mission and values. The partners include a library or coffee shop that offers free tutoring space, a social service organization that provides referrals, or a church that donates office and classroom space. We also collaboratively develop programming with partners that have a like-minded mission such as All for All, Partner4Work, CareerLink, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Jewish Family and Community Services, and many more. Like us, our partners believe in a holistic approach to serving the community.

Literacy Pittsburgh continues to grow and evolve in exciting ways. While our primary focus remains adult and family literacy, we seek new partnerships and ideas that bring students from learning to earning. Literacy Pittsburgh will innovate and collaborate with partners to accelerate student success and serve the community going forward.
