Help Build a Lasting Legacy: Pathways to the Future

Sep 8, 2026Articles

As we celebrate National Literacy Month, we're reminded that literacy changes lives every day. It opens doors to employment, strengthens families, and creates opportunities that can last for generations. At Literacy Pittsburgh, we're committed to ensuring that these opportunities remain available for years to come.

One of the most meaningful ways to make a lasting impact is through Pathways to the Future, Literacy Pittsburgh's planned giving program. A planned gift is more than a financial contribution. It is a commitment to future learners and a powerful statement about the value of education. Legacy gifts help Literacy Pittsburgh remain strong, adaptable, and ready to meet the evolving needs of our community for years to come.

By including Literacy Pittsburgh in your estate plans, you become part of a special group of supporters whose generosity will create opportunities long into the future. Your gift can help future students improve their literacy skills, pursue employment opportunities, support their families, and fully participate in community life.

If you have already included Literacy Pittsburgh in your plans, or are considering a legacy gift, we would love to hear from you. By sharing your intentions, you can become a member of our Pathways to the Future community and inspire others to invest in the future of literacy.
