Brenda joined Literacy Pittsburgh in April 2022. She has over 25 years of extensive Human Resources experience, primarily in the hospitality industry. Most recently, she was with the Director of Human Resources at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center where she was employed for 15 years. Brenda is the first Human resources professional at Literacy Pittsburgh. She is responsible for supporting our staff while continuously building and managing the systems, processes, and resources that will enable Literacy Pittsburgh’s diverse and expanding workforce to grow and thrive. She is a graduate of Duquesne University with a BS in Human Resources Management and the proud mom of two sons.
