Immigrant Services and Connections Volunteer

Assist Literacy Pittsburgh’s service coordinators to help immigrant students overcome barriers and adjust to life in the United States. Opportunities include assisting with outside referral applications (food pantries, utilities, etc.), keeping referral lists updated, following up on service referrals, and more. Training is provided. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school credential or higher, and pass a background check paid for by Literacy Pittsburgh.
